Job Title: Vice President of Philanthropy
Location: Goshen, NY
Salary: $100,000 to $135,000 annually

Seeking experienced Vice President of Philanthropy to lead and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy that supports the organization's long-term growth and mission. This senior leadership role will focus on major gifts, annual giving, planned giving, capital campaigns, and donor engagement while fostering a strong culture of philanthropy throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead strategic fundraising initiatives, including major gifts, annual giving, planned giving, and capital campaigns.
  • Manage and cultivate a portfolio of high-capacity donors and prospects, including leadership donors and transformational gift opportunities.
  • Partner with the Executive Director, Board, and community volunteers to advance fundraising goals and donor engagement efforts.
  • Oversee development operations, grant support, donor stewardship programs, fundraising events, and planned giving initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years of nonprofit fundraising leadership experience managing multi-million-dollar development programs.
  • Proven success cultivating, soliciting, and closing major gifts, including six- and seven-figure contributions.
  • Experience working closely with Boards of Directors and volunteer committees to achieve fundraising objectives.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, strategic planning, and donor management skills.
