Job Title: Technical Support Engineer
Location: Middletown, NY
Salary: $95,000+ depending on experience

Seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support for complex electrical power systems while serving as the highest level of technical expertise for field service teams, customers, and internal staff. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical power systems, support continuous product improvement, and collaborate with engineering teams around the world.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for complex electrical power systems, UPS equipment, and field service operations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, training materials, operating procedures, and product support resources.
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts, support product quality initiatives, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams on continuous improvements.
  • Support business technology, software applications, and technical systems while mentoring field technicians and delivering technical training.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience supporting industrial electrical power systems, including UPS or critical power equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of SCR and IGBT power electronics, PLCs, ladder logic, and advanced electrical troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and business technology; valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
