Job Description

Job Title: Apprentice Production Technician
Location: Chester, NY
Salary: $45,000 annually

Join our production team and learn to manufacture specialized company products under hands-on supervision. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to build technical skills, work in a manufacturing environment, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Manufacture assigned products by following verbal/written instructions and meeting quality, cost, and safety standards.
  • Set up molds, jigs, production tooling, and operate a limited number of machines.
  • Measure, inspect, and record production data while performing basic calculations and reading drawings/specifications.
  • Maintain clean work areas, complete routine machine maintenance, and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude; able to use measurement tools and perform simple math.
  • Comfortable working with raw materials, machinery, dust, heat, and chemicals.
  • Strong work ethic with willingness to learn, take direction, and support continuous improvement.
Working Conditions
Exposure to fibers, dust, chemicals, heat, noise, and standard office environments as part of daily operations.
