Job Description

Lab Technician, Monday - Friday, 1st Shift Temp-to-permUp to $24/HR. D.O.E. 
Perform some aspects of routine testing in the Quality Control Department as well
as identifying and performing non-routine tests as necessary. On-the-job training in laboratory procedures, techniques and familiarity of chemicals and products for testing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform some routine chemical, physical and microbiological tests as needed.
  • Clean and maintain all laboratory glassware and tools.
  • Perform laboratory-oriented clerical duties including filing, printing of documents, computer data entry
    and record keeping.
  • Maintain and organized retention samples of raw materials and finish products.
  • Assist Quality Control Chemist & Senior Quality Control Technician with work load as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area including use of safety glasses, gloves, etc.
  • Assist in keeping inventory of laboratory supplies.
  • Any other task assigned by QC Manager.
  • Sample coordinator with requesting targets and COA going out to customers.
  • Perform environmental swabbing and water sampling for testing.
