Location: Hamburg, NJ
Compensation: $75,000
A manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to oversee and optimize production scheduling and operations. This key role ensures customer demand is met through efficient planning, material coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing work orders, maintaining a rolling 4-week production schedule, and ensuring on-time delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with capacity and customer requirements.
  • Open, manage, and close work orders and routing sheets with accuracy.
  • Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and customer service to align resources.
  • Monitor WIP and inventory, lead production status meetings, and adjust schedules proactively.
  • Analyze data and produce capacity and shipping reports to support operational decisions.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems; Spanish language skills are a plus.
The role requires work in an office, laboratory, and on the production floor. Must be comfortable navigating different work settings daily.
