Planning and Zoning ClerkChestnut Ridge, NY $25-30/hr.
Job Summary:We are seeking a Planning and Zoning Clerk to join our team! As a Building Department Clerk, you will answer the phones, and handle applicants' questions, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, etc. You will also be filing paperwork, making copies, faxing documents, and mailing information out to applicants, Planning and Zoning Board Members, Village Engineer, Building Inspector as appropriate and as needed. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills, experience working in an office environment, and strong organizational skills. This is a high pace Planning and Zoning Department handling a large number of applications every year.
