Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Middletown, NY
Salary: $21 hourly, contract, possible contract-to-perm
Schedule: 7am to 3:30pm or 8am to 4:30pm

Seeking Material Handler to package finished products, stage raw materials, support production operations, and maintain accurate quality and sanitation records. This position requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to follow established food safety and manufacturing procedures. 

Responsibilities
  • Package, weigh, seal, and label finished products according to written instructions and customer specifications.
  • Stage, rotate, and replenish raw materials while assisting production with upcoming batches.
  • Monitor mixing processes, collect quality-control samples, and complete required inventory and production records.
  • Clean and inspect pumps, filters, utensils, and related equipment while following GMP, HACCP, SQF, ISO, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent and current forklift certification.
  • Ability to read instructions, safety labels, manufacturing documents, and scale readouts in English.
  • Strong basic math skills, including metric and English weight and volume conversions.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand, bend, reach, and walk for extended periods.
