Job Description

Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Middletown, NY
Salary: $21 hourly

Seeking Material Handler to support packaging, raw material handling, and quality control processes. This first-shift role requires attention to detail, compliance with food safety standards, and flexibility to support production needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Package finished products into appropriate shipping containers per customer specifications, ensuring correct weights, sealing, and labeling
  • Stage raw materials for production, replenish drums, fill transfer containers, and rotate warehouse stock
  • Monitor mixing processes and pull quality control samples with proper documentation
  • Maintain cleaning records and operate in compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, ISO 9001:2015, and related safety standards
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Forklift certification required
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions in English
  • Knowledge of the metric system required
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, food production, or material handling preferred
