Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Port Jervis, NY
Salary: $25 to $32 hourly, depending on experience

Seeking experienced Maintenance Mechanic to support facility and industrial equipment operations. This hands-on role ensures machinery, buildings, and grounds are properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair industrial equipment including furnaces, compressors, HVAC, and production machinery
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and complete facility repairs (electrical, welding, plumbing, masonry, carpentry)
• Maintain grounds including snow removal and general upkeep
• Manage spare parts inventory and participate in on-call rotation

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of industrial mechanical and electrical maintenance experience
• Experience with motors, boilers, compressors, HVAC, and forklifts
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
• High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license and forklift certification
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in extreme temperatures
