Job Description

A well-established aerospace manufacturing company in Orange County, NY is seeking an experienced Electronic/Maintenance Technician to add to their team. This position requires installation, servicing, maintaining, upgrading and modification of machine tools and process equipment. Use various types of computing systems or electronic/electrical test equipment to test accuracy of electronic/electrical components/systems or to determine accuracy of equipment. 
Shift: Weekend Warrior Day - Friday/Saturday/Sunday 5:30am - 6:00pm
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent- documentation required
  • Minimum 5 years’ electrical and electronic troubleshooting experience
  • Must have experience with 480r systems             
  • Must meet ITAR definition of US Person(s)- documentation required
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and work in fast paced environment
  • Recommend upgrades and modifications to improve system performance
  • Understand drawings, technical manuals, and instructions to perform system installation activities
  • Familiar with MS Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English
  • Must be able to write and verbalize information clearly in English
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to perform overtime when necessary, including weekdays when required
  • MTI is a safety sensitive manufacturer. As such, successful results of pre-employment drug testing will be required.
Preferable Experience:
  • Associates Degree or equivalent in the machine tool electrical maintenance field
  • 1-3 years of previous manufacturing experience
