Inventory Manager
Temp-to-perm ( client may consider Direct Hire)Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm.
This position requires a flexible schedule to support production needs. The Inventory and Logistics Manager reports to the Facility Operations Managers and will have direct responsibility for leading the Material Handling staff to ensure business objectives are achieved in an accurate, efficient and safe manner.Job Responsibilities

The Inventory and Logistics Manager reports to the Facility Operations Managers and will have direct responsibility for leading the Material Handling staff to ensure business objectives are achieved in an accurate, efficient and safe manner.Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the organization of the Warehouse and flow of goods throughout departments.
- Manage Inventory Cycle Count initiatives and annual Physical Inventory processes.
- Provide input on efficient inventory management procedures and design/execute process improvement projects to improve our warehouse operations, quality metrics.
- Ensure timely and accurate put-away of all inbound receipts.
- Manage the collection of items called for on batches and staged in consolidation locations as needed.
- Timely and accurate posting of WMS cycle count results with analysis and proper reporting of discrepancies
- Monitor and report on transportation and warehousing projects and facilitate productive communication with Customer Service, Production and Distribution with all inventory actions including bin and feeder replenishments, warehouse transfers, put-aways and other inventory activities.
- Reactive management by performing investigations on location based inaccuracies to determine root cause, effect and corrective actions needed.
- Proactively, train, audit and coach department employees to meet fluctuating needs within facility or facilities.
- Provide leadership and direction for the department employees to meet demand. Develop all employees by ensuring cross-training and qualification for all standard functions performed.
