Inside SalesSales Support Assistant1st Shift, Monday - Friday, Direct HIre$55,000 - $65,000
The Sales Support Assistant collaborates with the Outside Sales team to sell building products and services to businesses and individuals. This role involves customer outreach, product demonstrations, quoting prices, preparing contracts, and managing customer accounts.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Generate sales leads from various sources like directories, trade shows, and online platforms.
- Travel with the Sales Representative to visit customers and promote products.
- Demonstrate products and explain features to potential customers.
- Provide pricing, credit terms, and prepare sales contracts.
- Estimate delivery dates and manage customer inquiries and issues.
- Track inventory, update customer data in the system, and attend trade shows.
**Requirements:**
- One-year certificate or 3-6 months of related sales experience (building materials preferred).
- Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and team collaboration.
- Ability to handle customer objections, meet sales goals, and adapt to market changes.
- Basic knowledge of order processing, spreadsheets, and word processing software.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Occasional lifting (up to 80 pounds) and travel (up to 20%).
- Flexibility to work in both office and outdoor environments with weather conditions.
