Job Description

Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Warwick, NY
Salary: $22 to $25 hourly, depending on experience

Seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to ensure products meet established quality and reliability standards. This role involves inspecting materials and finished products, performing measurements and tests, and maintaining accurate quality documentation. The ideal candidate has experience reading mechanical drawings and using precision measuring tools within a manufacturing environment. 

The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm with benefits available including 401(k), health insurance reimbursement, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, Aflac, and paid time off.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform in-process and final inspections of rubber products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation to determine inspection and quality requirements
  • Document inspection results, maintain testing records, and report non-conformances while assisting with root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Compile and review inspection data to monitor product quality and collaborate with management and engineering teams on quality improvements
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or quality-related certifications preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing or quality inspection, preferably in rubber or similar production environments
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and use precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. while working in a manufacturing environment
