Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Middletown, NY (Travel required throughout Orange, Sullivan, Ulster, and Dutchess Counties)
Salary: $25 to $28 hourly, depending on experience
We are seeking a confident and organized Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage full-cycle recruitment and support daily HR operations. This role plays a key part in building a high-performing workforce by delivering an efficient, structured hiring process while maintaining accurate HR systems and records. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works independently, and partners effectively with hiring managers across multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating hiring processes across multiple locations
- Maintain ATS records, ensure compliance with employment laws, prepare offer letters, coordinate background checks, and support onboarding activities
- Support HR operations by maintaining personnel files, managing documentation systems, responding to inquiries, and assisting with HR projects and process improvements
- Provide backup payroll support including reviewing timecards, entering payroll data, and collaborating with HR and Finance to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recruiting or HR experience; payroll exposure or support experience is a plus
- Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HRIS/ATS systems (such as ADP); valid NYS driver’s license and ability to travel required
