Job Title: Hot Metal Production Supervisor
Location: Port Jervis
Salary: $85,000 annually

Seeking Hot Metal Production Supervisor responsible for overseeing daily operations within the department, ensuring efficient production, high-quality output, and a safe working environment. This role leads and develops a team, troubleshoots operational issues, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance and reduce costs.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee manufacturing operations, ensuring production goals, quality standards, and safety regulations are consistently met
  • Lead, train, and supervise staff, including scheduling, performance monitoring, and enforcing company policies and standards
  • Identify and resolve operational issues, equipment malfunctions, and process inefficiencies while coordinating with maintenance and other departments
  • Monitor production output and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain ISO and company standards
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of supervisory or management experience, preferably in production, foundries, furnaces, or similar environments
  • Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to drive results and manage teams 
  • Experience with production scheduling, quality control processes, and safety compliance in a manufacturing setting
  • Certified forklift operator and ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs. and frequent movement
