Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Location: Rockland County, NY
Salary: $30 to $50 hourly, depending on experience (transitions to weekly salary after approximately 3 months)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week, overtime only when necessary
Seeking experiences Heavy Equipment Operator to join a growing excavation company where you'll operate a variety of heavy equipment on commercial and residential projects throughout the Hudson Valley. Responsibilities
- Operate excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, and skid steers on excavation projects; some manual labor may be required
- Read and interpret site plans and blueprints to complete projects accurately.
- Perform excavation work involving underground utilities, foundations, sewer, and septic installations.
- Work closely with laborers and crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience operating heavy equipment in an excavation or construction environment.
- Knowledge of underground utilities, sewer and septic systems, grading, and foundation excavation.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
- OSHA Certification preferred, company will provide if not.
