Job Description

Job Title: Financial Auditor - Team Lead
Location: Spring Valley, NY 

Seeking an experienced financial auditor to join our client's growing audit team as a Team Lead. This role manages audit engagements, reviews all team work, supports junior auditors, and communicates directly with clients and ownership. The ideal candidate is organized, confident, and able to handle a fast-paced workload with multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion
  • Review all audits and ensure accuracy and GAAP compliance
  • Train, guide, and support junior auditors
  • Prepare and review financial statements
  • Maintain audit documentation and clean workpapers
  • Communicate with clients and internal management
  • Support workflow improvements and process efficiencies
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required (CPA preferred)
  • 3–5 years of audit experience
  • Strong GAAP and audit methodology knowledge
  • Experience in healthcare audits strongly preferred
