Family Advocate, Full-time, Permanent PlacementMon-Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm Lunch and breaks: 60-minute lunch $17.00- $19.00/HR
This position is responsible for implementing the core family partnership, parent involvement, and community partnership functions of company program. The family advocate recruits and enrolls children for program and then supports and assists families as they identify and meet their own goals through a family development model for developing and carrying out the program Family Partnership Agreements.
This position also assists with the completion of the child health requirements and other required screenings and assessments. This position is chiefly responsible for the following core functions and performs other tasks as needed:Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance Family Partnerships Community Partnerships Communication and Service Coordination Record Keeping and Recording On-going Monitoring and Self-assessment QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLSA Family Development Credential (FDC) or degree in human services or related field is desired. Candidates must have at least a High School Diploma or GED and complete an FDC within one year. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. The position requires on site and remote work at times. Must pass physical examination, background check, and fingerprinting screen. Ability to lift children weighing 40-50 pounds in case of emergency. Maintain certification in CPR and First Aid, if required.
