Job Title: Electrical Design Drafter
Location: Middletown, NY
Salary: $28+ hourly, depending on experience
Job Type: Contract with the possibility to become permanent

Seeking Electrical Design Drafter to support the design and documentation of electrical power and control systems. This role partners closely with engineering and project management to produce accurate drawings and documentation that meet customer specifications and applicable industry standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Produce electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, installation/assembly drawings, and bills of material
  • Support system and component-level design in alignment with NEC, NEMA, UL, and related standards
  • Maintain revision control and support engineering change processes across all documentation
  • Assemble technical submittals, O&M/training manuals, and production drawing packages
Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree (or equivalent technical training) and 2+ years supporting electrical systems (switchgear, controls, generators, or UPS)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, including creation of electrical schematics and drafting to industry standards
  • Working knowledge of NEC and common electrical drafting conventions
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office/Windows-based systems; PLC exposure and documentation package experience a plus
