Day Compounder
Job Description
Company seeking Fragrance Compounder for 1st shift from 7am-3:30pm. Full time position for approximately 6 months paying $20-$23 hourly depending on experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Weigh accurately all ingredients specified in a formulation, ensuring accuracy of code numbers, lot numbers, description of ingredient and weights.
• Maintain accurate inventory control of all materials used, including lot numbers, warehouse locations and expiration dates when manufacturing, record keeping, changing drums and/or refilling transfer containers.
• Manufacture products according to special instruction.
• Work within proper cGMP, safety, allergen, SSOP, SQF, Kosher, Halal, and ISO guidelines.
• Required to attend annual refresher food safety training.
• On site annual competency testing is required.
• Responsible for maintaining the SQF, ISO 9001:2015 and EFfCI requirements.
Education, Training and/or Work Experience Requirements
• High school diploma or general education degree
• Ability to read and understand instructions in English
• Knowledge of the metric system is required
• Forklift certification required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements
• Ability to convert English units of weight and volume to metric units of weight and volume
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability stand, walk, reach and bend for long durations required
• Working knowledge of SQF, ISO 9001:2015, EFfCI, GMP, and HACCP.
• Training will be provided for carrying out the tasks essential to the implementation and effective operation of the SQF, ISO 9001:2015, GMP, HACCP and EFfCI systems.
