CustodianPossible Temp-Perm role$19/hr. Benefits offered after permanent status: Paid holidays, after 90 days - medical/dental/vision/401K, accidental death & disability, sick and vacation time, uniforms provided 
Drug test & background check required 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  
  • Maintains and cleans building floors, including sweeping, mopping and vacuuming
  • Cleans other areas as required including carpets, walls, equipment, offices, kitchens, public spaces, conference rooms, entrances and exterior walkways
  • Collects and disposes of trash and rubbish from all floors
  • Work extra hours for special events and cover shifts for other maintenance staff
  • Assist with set ups for special events
  • Service and clean; restock paper products and hand soap
  • Wash and maintain all building doors and windows
  • Use of heavy cleaning equipment such as floor buffers
  • Must be able to meet physical requirement associated with cleaning
  • Prepare vacant units for new tenants
  • Change led and florescent light bulbs
  • Secure facilities after operating hours by locking doors and closing windows
  • Remove snow from building sidewalks
  • Position requires an organized self-starter, able to handle multiple priorities with efficiency and accuracy in a busy supportive housing environment
  • Represents the maintenance department in a positive manner at all times
  • Other duties as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent & three years' experience in related field. Strong customer service and communication skills. Must have reliable transportation and be able to lift 50 lbs. Ability to pay attention to details.
Hours Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
