Branch Manager with Deposit Operations Experience

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Branch Manager with a strong background in Deposit Operations and "back office" functions to lead the daily operations of our credit union branch. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and an in-depth understanding of financial products, policies, and procedures—particularly in deposit operations. This position requires a strategic thinker capable of ensuring both the smooth running of front-line branch activities and the efficient management of the credit union’s operational back-office processes.

Key Responsibilities
Branch Leadership & Staff Management
•    Oversee day-to-day operations of the branch, including managing a team of tellers, member service representatives, and support staff
•    Provide leadership, training, coaching, and performance management to branch employees to ensure a high level of motivation and productivity
•    Foster a customer-centric culture to ensure exceptional service delivery and member satisfaction
•    Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one performance evaluations to ensure alignment with branch goals and operational standards
Deposit Operations & Back-Office Management
•    Supervise and manage the deposit operations functions, including but not limited to account opening, maintenance, and verification processes, check processing, and deposit reconciliation
•    Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including BSA/AML, ACH, and wire transfer protocols, related to deposit operations
•    Monitor and resolve operational issues related to account discrepancies, audit findings, or any back-office systems concerns
•    Collaborate with IT and other departments to streamline back-office operations, implement new technologies, and enhance operational efficiency

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience
•    Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in branch management or a similar role in a financial institution, including 2+ years in deposit operations (back-office functions)
•    Proven leadership experience in managing teams, training staff, and driving performance results
•    Solid understanding of deposit products, services, and regulations (e.g., BSA/AML, Regulation CC, ACH, etc.).
•    Hands-on experience with back-office deposit systems, transaction processing, and account reconciliation
UNLIMITED SICK TIME Salary Range DOE: $75-83+/k
