Job Description
Bookkeeper, Full Time
We are seeking an experienced professional or recent graduate to work with our client in their Peekskill, NY facility. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9am - 5:30pm. Duties include maintaining financial records within Sage 50, receiving incoming payments, digitizing incoming invoices and related documents, bank reconciliations, following up on customer accounts, mailing outbound payments, and performing check drops at the bank. Ideal candidates are seeking a stable long-term position, performing recurrent core functions of bookkeeping, record organization, and record maintenance. Training in our internal processes is provided, but a solid understanding of bookkeeping is essential for success. The ideal candidate should have a keen attention to detail, the ability to juggle multiple tasks, strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as problem-solving and analytical abilities, and a high level of math proficiency. Requirements: Associates degree in accounting or business administration2+ years bookkeeping experienceProficient in Sage50 or Quickbooks (double entry system), MS Office 365
