Job Title: Medicaid Billing Specialist
Location: Middletown, NY
Salary: $23 hourly

Seeking Billing Specialist responsible for accurately processing financial transactions, maintaining account and vendor information, and supporting reporting and billing functions. This role requires strong attention to detail, independence, effective communication, and the ability to support team operations within the Finance unit.

Responsibilities:
  • Process and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies independently.
  • Maintain and update vendor/employee profiles and financial data; create and manage spreadsheets and reports.
  • Track and report financial activity, assisting with monthly and yearly reconciliations and audits.
  • Complete Medicaid and behavioral health insurance billing while supporting team tasks and cross-training needs.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience; strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and database software; ability to create useful spreadsheets and tools.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
