Job Title:  Senior Bank Teller
Location: Warwick, NY
Salary: $55,000 to $58,000 annually

Position Summary:
The Senior Bank Teller/Assistant Branch Manager will play a key leadership role in the daily operations of the branch. This position assists with teller supervision, transaction accuracy, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will mentor, guide, and support the teller team while ensuring exceptional customer experiences and achieving branch goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily teller line operations, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with balancing cash drawers, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely transaction processing.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate teller staff, providing feedback and coaching to enhance performance.
  • Support branch audits, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the Branch Manager with team training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for teller staff, addressing questions and resolving operational issues.
  • Collaborate with branch leadership to implement promotional campaigns and product training for tellers.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a Teller, Senior Teller, or equivalent role in a banking environment.
  • Prior experience supervising or coaching staff preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of banking products, services, policies, and procedures.
