Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Warwick, NY
Salary: $53,00o to $60,000 annually, depending on experience

Seeking Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing property management organization. This position will support the accounting team in a fast-paced office environment, processing a high volume of invoices and payments across approximately 40 locations. The ideal candidate will have strong accounts payable experience, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively in a small team where everyone contributes to overall success. 
Responsibilities:
  • Process approximately 1,500 invoices and generate 1,000 checks monthly for multiple locations.
  • Allocate utility and vendor invoices to the appropriate locations.
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable records and assist with vendor account reconciliations.
  • Support general accounting functions, including general ledger corrections, prepayments, and fixed asset tracking.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a multi-entity management environment.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles, including general ledger entries, fixed assets, and prepayments.
  • Experience with Yardi software and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative office environment.
