Job Description

Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Middletown, NY
Salary: $20 to $22 hourly, depending on experience

Seeking an entry-level Accounts Payable Clerk to support daily financial transactions, invoice processing, and payment tracking. This is a high-volume role supporting multiple offices, requiring strong communication skills and attention to detail. Schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:45am to 5:15pm.

Responsibilities:
  • Process invoices, payments, and accounts payable transactions while maintaining accurate financial records
  • Update financial spreadsheets, track expenses, and assist with reconciliation of bank statements
  • Communicate regularly with attorneys and internal teams regarding client disbursements, payments, and financial documentation
  • Provide administrative support for reporting, payroll support, audits, and general accounting operations
Qualifications:
  • 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting/finance role
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage high transaction volume
  • Professional communication skills and an easy-going personality for frequent email correspondence with internal staff
