Job Title: Accounting and Operations Administrator
Location: Newburgh, NY
Salary: $55,000 to $70,000 depending on experience

Overview:
Seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Administrator to support our accounting and operations teams. This role focuses on A/P, A/R, month-end close, reconciliations, and data management. The ideal candidate has strong accounting foundations, exceptional Excel skills, and the ability to turn raw financial data into clear, usable reports for leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process A/P and A/R transactions, perform reconciliations, and support month-end close
  • Conduct ledger reviews, prepare journal entries, and assist with flex analysis
  • Reconcile vendor and client accounts, monitor balances, and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare accurate financial summaries and Excel-based reports for leadership
Qualifications
  • 2–4 years of accounting or finance experience (A/P, A/R, reconciliations, month-end close)
  • Extremely strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data cleaning
  • Experience with ledger review, journal entries, and account reconciliation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy, confidentiality, and clear communication
