Job Description

ACCOUNTING MANAGER- Montgomery, NY Salary Range: $79,680.34 To $99,600.42 Annually 
Responsible for: all areas relating to accounting functions, regulatory reporting and financial reporting. 
  • Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly accounting tasks and activities
  • Make recommendations to the Controller/CFO for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial and regulatory reporting. 
  • Manages staff to ensure work is properly allocated and completed efficiently. 
  •  Responsible for maintaining general ledger and all accounting functions. 
  • Accurately produces all monthly and quarterly reports on a timely basis.

Knowledge and Skills Experience:
  • Financial accounting experience and understanding of GAAP required. Specialized knowledge in regulatory and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
  • 2 - 5 years of similar or related experience in addition to 3+ years of supervisory experience.
