Job Title: Accounting Clerk
Location: Goshen, NY
Salary:$20 to$ 22 hourly

Seeking Accounting Clerk to support financial administration, billing, insurance operations, and administrative functions. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, accurate with data, strong in Excel, and comfortable learning new software systems in a professional office environment. 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, premium financing documentation, and routine financial reports
  • Assist with policy renewal billing, payment collections, insured payment inquiries, and billing disputes
  • Support commission reconciliation, carrier payment processing, and customer account record maintenance
  • Learn and utilize AMS360, Excel, and other systems for reporting, data entry, and process improvement
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
  • 1–2 years of accounting or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
  • Strong data entry accuracy, attention to detail, and professional phone and email communication skills
