Job Title: Controller
Location: Newburgh, NY
Salary: $120,000 to $150,000

Seeking a hands-on Controller to lead financial operations and support strategic growth. This role will oversee accounting functions, drive accurate reporting, and provide key insights into margins, cash flow, and inventory within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts, margin analysis, and financial insights for leadership decision-making
  • Manage ERP system (ABIS Adjutant) for inventory tracking, job costing, and financial accuracy
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA or CMA preferred)
  • Proven experience in manufacturing, distribution, or inventory-heavy environments
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory valuation, and ERP/MRP systems (ABIS Adjutant preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills with financial modeling experience and prior leadership of accounting staff
