Job Description
Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Fiscal Manager, this position assists with the financial activities for the Agency, while maintaining compliance with all Federal and State Fiscal Regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Compile and input financial data to GL accounts per prescribed audit requirements
• Responsible for full detailed accounts payable documentation and input
• Responsible for biweekly payroll excel worksheet input and quarterly time studies
• Preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations for monthly general ledger close
• Resolve accounting discrepancies
• Prepare monthly financial statements and complete monthly closings for internal reporting by deadline
• Assist with preparation, monitoring, and reporting cash flow projections
Minimum Qualifications
• Associates degree and three years of experience or the work equivalent
• Strong technical background, solid knowledge of accounting and financial principles in a non-profit setting
• Proficiency with Quickbooks and MS Excel a MUST
• Strong communication skills
• Organized and precise
