Job Description

Job Title: Firestopping Business Development Specialist
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Job Type: $100,000 to $120,000 (depending on experience)

Seeking a hands-on Business Development Specialist focused on winning, pricing, and supporting profitable firestopping work through deep technical knowledge and client relationships.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, developers, owners, and facilities teams to grow firestopping revenue
  • Review drawings and specifications to identify firestopping scope and prepare accurate pricing and proposals
  • Provide technical firestopping expertise including systems, UL assemblies, and inspection requirements
  • Support projects from pre-award through execution, including coordination, change orders, and documentation
Qualifications:
  • 3 to 5+ years of direct firestopping experience (non-negotiable)
  • Proven experience selling and pricing firestopping work
  • Strong knowledge of firestopping systems, codes, UL assemblies, and inspections
  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications and identify firestopping scope
