Job Description

Finishing TechnicianHours 6:30 am - 3pm, CNC EXPERIENCE
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Work with company materials, including:
    • Production Supplies
    • Raw Materials
    • Other Purchased Materials
    • Work In Process
    • Value Added Items
    • Finished Goods
  • Set up molds, jigs, and other production tooling
  • Operate a range of production machines
  • Utilize mechanical measurement tools to determine dimensions
  • Perform mathematical calculations
  • Extract data from drawings, specifications charts, tables, and other documents
  • Adjust machines and fixtures
  • Perform preventative maintenance on production machines
  • Clean up work areas, machines, and production tooling
  • Provide verbal and written input for drafts of product reference documents, including:
    • Routings (Bills of Materials)
    • Manufacturing Process Control Work Instructions
    • Manufacturing Process Control Forms
    • Equipment-specific documents (Operating and Preventative Maintenance Instructions)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Verbal and written comprehension skills normally acquired upon completion of High School
  • Ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the job
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings
  • CNC experience desired
  • Physical requirements include the ability to:
    • Lift products weighing up to 80 lbs. to table height and/or shelf height (up to 6’)
    • Stand for extended periods
    • Work wearing a dust mask appropriate to working conditions
    • Work wearing safety glasses
    • Climb ladders
